The History - I want to make a blue candle! This was an idea answered and actioned 11 years ago by L Arche, a voluntary community organisation supporting people with learning difficulties. Today, in a factory nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, handmade candles and associated products are produced to high standards using new candle technology. They offer a range of work experience and training to help people enter or return to the workplace. A progressive business which began with a BIG idea!

The Vision - A not for profit business investing in disadvantaged people traditionally excluded from the labour market. Their aim is to develop a viable commercial business delivering training in work based skills for all involved, and for the good of the community.

The Mission - To provide quality supported jobs to disadvantaged people where all who contribute can live equally and enjoy the full benefits of contributing to society. Also, delivering high quality goods throughout the UK as a Social Enterprise.
